The first few months of the year are always quiet in the Entertainments Industry. We`ve had just a few Parties and Weddings to help with in Jan/Feb/Mar but we`ve also had some of our biggest events ever too. Early March saw us rock the YFC world at Weston-Super-Mare for the YFC Southwest Area event with two dancefloors two lightshows two amazing sound systems and loads of fantastic DJs. We will have a case-study online soon so you can see all the planning processes we use for big events like this. The DJ of the weekend would have to be DJ Karat who pulled the short straw with Friday night in the Cheese room but it turned out to be the best dancefloor of the weekend and people are still talking about his set!
The Spring has brought about some big changes here at YPN. We are sad to have lost two of our longer serving DJs: Mark B and Neil have decided to move on to other things so we say Bon-Voyage to them and wish them all the best of luck in their new enterprise.
But as `they` say: “as one door closes another door opens” so I`m pleased that we will be welcoming on board two new DJs at the end of March. Both DJs have extensive experience in the Wedding market and if they pass all the training and quality testing then they should be up-and-running for this Wedding season. More details to follow once the contracts are signed.
